Then, make sure to incorporate these immune-boosting foods into your diet.

Vitamin C is an antioxidant and an essential nutrient. There’s some evidence that vitamin C can aid people under stress by boosting their immune systems. Vitamin C stimulates the formation of white blood cells, which are essential in the battle against illness. Add these foods to your diet to increase your vitamin C intake: Citrus fruits, kiwi, peppers, red and green peppers, Strawberries, Broccoli, etc. The immune-boosting benefits of garlic appear to be due to a high quantity of sulfur-containing substances like allicin. Its importance in the battle against illnesses was recognized by early cultures. Garlic may also assist in preventing artery hardening, and there is some evidence that it can help decrease blood pressure. Garlic is used in nearly every cuisine on the planet. It enhances the flavor of meals and is beneficial to your health.
Black and green teas are rich in flavonoids, a type of antioxidant. In addition, the high Green tea’s levels of epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) which studies have shown to improve immunological function, make it an excellent immune booster. Beta carotene, an antioxidant that gives sweet potatoes their orange color, is abundant in their skin. Vitamin A is found in beta carotene. It aids in maintaining healthy skin and may offer some protection against skin damage. Lastly, dark chocolate includes theobromine, an antioxidant that protects the body’s cells from free radicals and may assist in improving the immune system.
