Whether it’s because we love to see people’s talents develop over time or because we want to see how things look after going through a drastic change, we all love looking at before-and-after pictures. After all, there is something so fascinating about the way things completely transform without us even noticing. The following photos capture the most fascinating before-and-after comparisons to prove anything can change.
“My 13 years’ progress of drawing an eye.”
This is truly inspiring. This person could have easily quit after realizing their first drawing didn’t look super realistic and that learning to draw would be a long process. But instead, they decided to keep practicing. Looking at this incredible masterpiece that almost looks like a photo, all we can say is we’re glad this person never gave up on their dream of being an artist.
“My friend walked from Mexico to Canada on the Pacific Crest Trail. This is him before and after.”
If you have ever wondered how long it takes to walk from Mexico to Canada, the answer is four to six months. In a little over five months, this man walked around 30 miles every day while eating up to 6,000 calories a day, but still lost almost 30 pounds. At least he gained a glorious beard in exchange for this upper body strength!
“Before and after being coated in Vantablack paint. This color absorbs 99.96% of all light.”
Initially grown from a chemical vapor deposition process, Vantablack is considered one of the darkest coatings in the world. It absorbs nearly all the visible light that strikes it, making 3D objects appear as 2D. The image above shows how a sculpture appears to lose all its depth when covered in Vantablack.
“Before and after power washing.”
We all know power washing does wonders when it comes to cleaning things. After all, even its name indicates how powerful it is. What we didn’t know, though, is what these New York City buildings actually looked like before they were all covered in coal, mold, and all types of dirt.
“What a difference 3 years make.”
For three years, this person completely changed their diet and exercise routine. After losing 180 pounds, their jeans went from a size 30 to a size 4 and their shirts went from a size 4X to an XS. They explained that the purple shirt is an outfit they had worn three years prior to this picture while the black shirt is what they wore that day.
“$100 in circulated $1 bills vs brand new stack.”
These brand-new dollar bills look extremely crisp and smooth. On the other hand, the circulated ones look like they’ve been through a lot – and they probably have. The old bills have been used (and wrinkled) so much that they have quadrupled their size! It’s crazy how we never notice these small details in our daily lives, but once we do we can’t stop thinking about them.
“Before and after the first day of school.”
These two pictures capture exactly what the first day of school is like. We remember being so excited for the first day back to school every year that we could barely sleep the night before. After a whole day of playing with our friends, we would always come home as exhausted as this little girl – but ready to do it all over again the next day.
“The progression of this chrysalis hanging off the side of our house is awesome. Photos taken 8 days apart.”
It’s amazing what nature can do in only a few days. When this person first found this chrysalis, they captured the moment by taking a picture. Then, eight days later, they realized it was still there, so they documented its transformation with another picture. Looking at these two pictures next to each other, it’s almost unbelievable that they depict the same chrysalis.
“My spine, before and after scoliosis surgery.”
Modern medicine is absolutely incredible. This person’s spine had a sideways curvature making it look like the letter S – which probably caused them a lot of back pain. After a few hours in the operating room (and thanks to the work of incredible doctors and nurses), their spine was completely transformed. Now all curves are gone and their back is as straight as it can be.
“Mosquito before and after a meal.”
Have you ever wondered how mosquito bites work? Apparently, these tiny insects have a system of thin spears where their mouth should be. Each of these needle-like parts pierces the skin, finds blood vessels and makes it easy for mosquitoes to suck up blood. As they feed, mosquitoes inject saliva into your skin – this makes your body react, resulting in bumps and itchhing.
“After 17 years I decided to cut my dreadlocks.”
If you have long hair, you know how much time it takes to grow. In fact, it requires time, patience, and lots of conditioner. This is why we can only imagine how weird it must have felt for this guy to chop off his dreadlocks after almost two decades of growing out his hair. We wonder if he kept one as a memento…
“Cleaning off 400 years of accumulated grime.”
There is something so calming about watching old, dusty objects being cleaned. After many centuries, it’s normal for varnish to turn brown – in order to get old paintings back to their original colors, art restorers use varnish stripper to get rid of the discolored layer on top of paintings without ruining their paint.
“Before and after visual effects.”
Usually, filmmakers rely on special effects makeup and prosthetics to show burn wounds. However, instead of spending hours on the makeup chair every day while filming The Dark Knight, Aaron Eckhart had the opportunity to use special effects to completely transform his face.
“Manhattan before New York City.”
The smallest, yet most densely populated of New York City’s boroughs, Manhattan is the urban core of the New York metropolitan area. But obviously, the area hasn’t always been full of buildings. This computer rendering shows what Manhattan looked like before New York City and all its skyscrapers.
“My new transition contacts before & after going into the sunlight.”
We had heard of transition glasses, but transition contacts are a brand new concept for us! It turns out these brilliant contacts react when exposed to UV and HEV light by darkening, then quickly fade back from dark to clear when removed from direct sunlight. They also filter blue light, which makes us want to try them even more…
“The difference 11 days can make for this maple tree.”
We think maple trees should be called “rainbow trees”. These gorgeous trees go from dark green in the summer to the most beautiful shades of yellow, orange, and red in the colder months. In fact, sometimes, their leaves can even turn purple or brown in the fall and winter!
“My teddy bear after 22 years of love compared to his original form.”
We all know stuffed animals will only keep their shape if left on the shelf, after all, we’ve all destroyed a few teddy bears when we were kids. But not all of us have been sleeping next to our childhood toys for decades, so it might come as a surprise to some people that stuffed animals can end up looking like the teddy bear in this picture.
“This is what happens if you leave a Coke can outside for three years.”
You probably have never wondered what would happen if you left a soda can outside for three years (we know we haven’t). But looking at this picture now, we are definitely wondering if we should try this experiment at home. Who would have known that after three years a red soda can would turn gold?!
“My dad is a carpenter, and it is very interesting to see how much our house has changed since we moved in.”
We absolutely love this picture. When this family moved into their house, it looked nothing like it does today. Since moving, this person’s dad has doubled the size of their home, added windows to the existing part of the house, and made it look so much better!
“Turned an old rusty van into the Mystery Machine.”
If you used to watch Scooby-Doo as a kid, this picture must be bringing back lots of memories. We know we definitely feel nostalgic looking at this person’s incredible work. We wonder how often people ask them to take pictures with their van when they’re on the road…
“Same knobs, 50 years apart.”
At first sight, these knobs barely look similar. But if you pay attention, you will notice that the left knob is missing the cap for the screw and has definitely changed its shape due to years of use. This person shared that they found some spare knobs in the basement and decided to switch them out – and we are so glad they remembered to take this picture before finishing the job!
“Before and after of a man who walked across China for a year.”
If you had ever wondered what it would take for a man to almost turn into a lion, here’s your answer. After a whole year of walking across China, this man’s hair and beard became one, just like a lion’s mane. Besides, his face became covered in freckles, making him look even more similar to the king of the jungle.
“Power washed these chairs that have been sitting outside for 30 years.”
These chairs had been sitting outside for so long that they completely changed color. In fact, this person probably couldn’t even remember what their original color looked like. It turns out that all they needed was a little power-washing to go back to their original hue.
“Mount St. Helens before and after its 1980 eruption.”
Located in Skamania County, Washington, Mount St. Helens erupted on May 18, 1980. Although geologists predict future eruptions will be more destructive, Mount St Helens remains a popular hiking spot and it’s climbed year-round by tourists from all over the world.
“My friend’s little brother had an allergic reaction to hair dye.”
When hairdressers tell us we shouldn’t dye our hair at home unless we know what we’re doing, we usually think it’s because we’ll end up with dye stains on our face and missed spots in our hair. It turns out, dyeing your hair is a little more dangerous than we imagined…
“Injured bald eagle before and after receiving a prosthetic beak.”
Beauty is a bald eagle who was cruelly shot by a poacher. Found with a shattered beak, she was rescued and taken to Birds of Prey Northwest, a nonprofit organization that helps birds of prey by providing medical treatment to injured and sick wild raptors. There, Beauty received the incredible 3D-printed prosthetic beak seen in the picture above.
“Before and after recovering from open-heart surgery.”
This guy’s recovery is truly impressive! Apparently, it takes up to three months for someone to recover from open-heart surgery – which is more than enough time for you to get used to living a sedentary lifestyle and end up sticking to this routine even after you’ve healed. This is why it’s so remarkable that this guy had the willpower to go back to the gym as soon as he could.
“Tropicana bottle before and after processing.”
Plastic bottles look very different before they are expanded and filled with juice, soda, or water. These small plastic tubes are called pre-forms and they are initially shipped and stored like this for efficiency purposes. To turn pre-forms into regular plastic bottles, air is pumped into them.
“One pillowcase has been used nearly every day for 40 years. The other has been in a closet.”
It’s crazy how different these pillowcases look. After being used almost every single night for four decades, the top one looks just like we’d expect a 40-year-old pillowcase to look like. But what’s really impressive, in our opinion, is how the other one still looks brand new after being kept in a closet for so long!
“Oil filters: before and after 50k miles.”
If you have ever wondered what would happen if you never changed your oil again, this is your answer. This person runs an auto repair shop and was shocked when they saw this. Apparently, this is what an ambulance oil filter looks like after driving 50,000 miles without an oil change.
“My mom’s phone from 1998 vs. my phone from 2018.”
Time has certainly changed. In just two decades, mobile phones went from being just phones to being tiny computers we keep in our pockets. Nowadays, we rely on our phones for literally everything from calling and messaging people to taking pictures to browsing social media. Just imagine explaining this to someone in the 1990s!
“Poland has passed a law banning billboards.”
In the US, four states currently ban billboards: Alaska, Hawaii, Maine and Vermont. In other countries, cities like Sao Paulo, Brazil, and Chennai, India, have done the same. Many dislike the visual pollution created by billboards, while others believe outdoor ads should not exist because they simply should not be part of the architecture of cities.
“Computer graphics in 1998 compared to 2018.”
We all know technology has improved a lot in the past two decades. But looking at comparison pictures like this one makes us realize we don’t actually appreciate these improvements enough. It’s incredible to think that nowadays artists can create a videogame character that looks so human – the new Lara Croft even has pores!
“Century-old manhole cover on side street vs main street.”
It’s crazy to think that these two manhole covers once looked the same. Since not so many people walk on this side street in Grand Rapids City, you can still read the words on the cover located there. On the other hand, the manhole cover located on the main street looks nothing like it used to when it was first installed.
“My back scar and the tattoo I got to cover it up”
There is a popular trend lately of the people using the beauty of tattoos to cover up painful scars. This long back scar was covered up by a beautiful floral arrangement down this woman’s back. Every scar tells a story and now its has another story to share.
“Puppy found in combat. Then & Now.”
There are two things we can’t stop thinking about after looking at this picture. First, this dog is so lucky to have been found by this guy who clearly loves him and wants him to have the best possible life in America. The other thing we can’t stop thinking about is how this guy somehow looks ten years younger although time has definitely passed and even his dog looks ten years older.
“Car polishing: before and after.”
Up until this moment, we had never considered polishing our car. In fact, we had never actually thought about car polishing at all. Now, looking at the difference it makes – we might have to change our weekend plans… We want to see if we can make our car look as new as this one with some polish.
“Disney animators: then and now.”
Back when Disney started making animations, artists would have to hand draw everything on paper. Nowadays, things are a lot more advanced. Although it might be easier to fix mistakes on a computer screen, the level of detail we expect from these animations is a lot higher.
“New hiking poles vs. old ones after 2000 miles.”
After using their hiking poles for 2000 miles, this person realized it was time to buy a new pair. To be honest, we probably wouldn’t even notice that the old ones look so worn if we couldn’t compare them to the new ones. It turns out they are meant to be a lot longer than this!
“The same person, Han Junjia, 26 years apart, China.”
During his career as a train driver, Han Junjia has been able to see technology develop before his eyes. When he first started working as a train driver in the 1990s, he was in charge of a steam locomotive. Twenty-six years later, Junjia is now responsible for the Fuxing bullet train.
“This Baby Yoda cake I made.”
When we look at these impressive realistic cakes, all we can think about is how incredible they look. We are so impressed by their unbelievable artistry that we basically forget these artists’ medium is cake. This picture shows how a baker turned that interesting shape into a beautiful Baby Yoda cake.
“Before and after the birth of quadruplets.”
It’s tough enough dealing with one single infant, we can only imagine how much work it must be taking care of four babies at once! Judging by her huge smile in the second picture, though, we think it’s safe to assume she’s never been happier. Congratulations to the happy family!
“These two photos were taken 12 hours apart…”
This picture is proof that if you live in Colorado, you should always have your snow boots handy. In only 12 hours, the weather in this city changed completely. The fallen leaves on the ground were quickly covered in inches of snow! We wonder if things changed again after another 12 hours…
“Before and after jaw surgery.”
After going through a life-changing jaw surgery, this guy decided to show off the amazing work done by his doctor. And we are glad he did because we are truly impressed! If you were wondering how he felt after the procedure, he explained that he felt great but he couldn’t chew food for whole weeks afterward…
“Satisfying before & after shots of a customer’s car.”
We don’t know if we are more impressed by how great this car looks now that it’s been cleaned or by how someone even managed to get it to look so dirty in the first place… While it’s almost painful to look at the first picture, at least the second one makes us feel all warm and fuzzy inside…
“Retiring my 12-year-old shorts. Good thing I had a spare pair in storage.”
We have mixed opinions about these shorts. On one hand, they look completely destroyed, stained, and worn in comparison to the pair that was kept in storage. On the other hand, these shorts were worn for over a decade and somehow the fabric kept its shape and even (some of) its color.
“I made my first red velvet 7 years ago. This is my red velvet cake now.”
How inspiring is this before-and-after comparison?! These pictures are proof that even the most helpless bakers can become impressive artists if they just put in the effort. Although we all know that it takes time to become truly great at something, we sometimes seem to believe we have to be good at everything the first time we try it – but that’s clearly not true at all…
“My friend’s little cousin before and after his first day of kindergarten… Broken.”
This is so adorable it’s hilarious. This little boy was so excited to make new friends and play with them all day that he couldn’t stop smiling. But by the time his parents came to pick him up, after a whole day of playing and running around, he was already absolutely done with kindergarten.
“This is my pain au chocolat immediately after shaping. You can already see the layers.”
This person is an incredible baker and they know it. We cannot stop staring at this gorgeous pain au chocolat and its hundreds of layers! By the way, if you were also wondering what’s the difference between a pain au chocolat and a croissant: usually, the former is cut in rectangular shapes before rolling, while the latter is cut in triangular shapes.
“It was a rough start but I can’t explain how much my life has changed for the better”
Nowadays, more people have the opportunity, agency, and social support to live as their authentic selves. Transitioning is difficult no matter your age but it can be especially daunting to come out later in life. Still, however rough it might be, nothing feels as liberating as living your life as who you were truly meant to be.
“A whole year since surgery…I am so happy that I decided to go through with the procedure”
They say that you don’t know what you have until it’s gone…and that’s especially true when it comes to hair. Many people notice as they get older that their hairline begins to recede and some really struggle with the change. Today, doctors can perform hair transplant surgery to move a person’s existing follicles to where they would be more appreciated. Hair transplants look ghastly at first, but this photo shows how much they can change a person’s appearance in a short time.
“When the Jal Mahal was built an entire valley was dammed off so the palace would be transformed into an island when the Indian monsoon arrived.”
Not to be confused with the Taj Mahal, the Jal Mahal is a palace located in Jaipur, India. It was originally built in red sandstone in 1699 and its name means “water palace”. When the Man Sagar Lake is full, four of the palace’s five floors remain underwater, leaving only the top floor exposed.
“Before and after adopting my dog.”
The first picture in this collage is absolutely heart-wrenching. This dog looks so sad it breaks out heart. Thankfully, this family was able to adopt him and give him a loving home – and we can see how much he appreciates it. The dog’s smile in the second picture is the most beautiful thing we have seen all day.
“Before and after a night of snow at Zion National Park.”
These pictures are so gorgeous were are starting to consider going to Utah for our next vacation. There is something so special about the way nature can completely change the way things look in a matter of hours. If this photographer had not come back to the park that second day, we would never know just how fast this landscape can change.
“Totally did not realize the amount of grime build up.”
This is amazing. After so many years of looking at these floors, this person was completely used to their dark color. It was only when they decided to power-wash their deck that they realized how incredibly dirty it actually was. It must have taken several years for it to reach this level, but it made the wood look like a completely different material!
“Before and after limb lengthening.”
If you thought one of the things in life you can never change is your height, you have never heard of a process called distraction osteogenesis. Also known as callus distraction, callotasis and osteodistraction, this technique is used in orthopedic and reconstructive surgery to make a longer bone out of a shorter one.
“Baby pigeons vs. adult pigeons.”
Maybe it’s just us, but we’d never seen baby pigeons. We always just kind of assumed they were born looking like adult pigeons. It turns out that’s not true at all – baby pigeons look nothing like their grown-up versions. We wonder how long it takes for them to turn into the gray birds we see everywhere…
“What hail did to this massive tree: before and after.”
When we think about how powerful nature is, we usually think of beautiful ancient trees, gorgeous flowers that bloom in several different colors, and fascinating animal species that have adapted to their environments. But the truth is Mother Nature is also powerful enough to make those beautiful trees lose all their amazing bright-green leaves in a matter of hours…
“1,000-year-old Viking axe head before and after restoration.”
Found in a 10th-century tomb near the town of Silkeborg in Denmark, this two-handed axe was the only item buried with a man believed to be an important warrior and leader in the local Viking community. It’s truly incredible to see how the intricate pattern engraved into the axe remained intact under the rust after all these years.
Conjoined twins before and after surgery
The photo on the top shows pediatric doctor James Stein with 9-month-old twin girls. The shot was taken before a historical procedure where he would separate the twins. He performed the surgery with 60 other medical professionals. The picture below shows the separated twins with their triplet sister with the same doctor to celebrate their first birthday.
Before and after a face transplant
This man is Mitch Hunter and he was the second person in the world to ever get a full face transplant. He was in a car crash and suffered severe burns to his face. Doctors performed several procedures that last for countless hours. He can now feel sensations in his face and has even grown bread. His recovery and transformation are truly incredible.
“Two-year-old Converse.”
If you’re the type of person who wears the same pair of shoes every single day for years until they’re too destroyed to keep, this picture probably looks normal to you. This person wore these shoes until they had to be thrown away – but bought a brand new pair to replace them before doing so. That’s what we call commitment.
The evolution of gaming graphics (1996 vs. 2022)
This is truly incredible. If you were into video games back in the 90s, you probably remember how you didn’t care about graphics. Back then, we were just amazed by the fact that video games existed and had absolutely no idea that technology could even reach the point it has actually reached. Now, video game characters actually look like real-life people!
“This is what 110k miles without a cabin air filter replacement looks like.”
The more we look at this picture, the more we realize it’s probably time for a filter change. To be honest, we didn’t really know we were supposed to change our car’s air conditioner filter… But now that we do know, we’ll definitely be getting a new one immediately…
WWI soldier before and after prosthetics.
During World War I, several soldiers ended up badly injured or disfigured. To help them rebuild their self-esteem and find jobs, artist Anna Coleman Ladd would make casts of these men’s faces and features out of clay or plasticine. These prosthetic pieces were painted to resemble the recipients’ skin tones and included strings or eyeglasses for retention.
“Cleaning and restoring the Sistine Chapel’s ceiling.”
Built by Pope Sixtus IV, the Sistine Chapel was completed around 1481 and its ceiling was painted by Michelangelo between 1508 and 1512. Since then, its beautiful frescoes have undergone several restorations, the most recent one taking place between 1980 and 1994.
“Bao Bao the Panda: 2 days vs 2 months.”
Born on August 23, 2013, at the National Zoo in Washington D.C., Bao Bao is an adorable giant panda currently located at the China Conservation and Research Center for the Giant Panda. The official meaning of her name in Chinese is “treasure”, but it also colloquially means “baby”.
A ballerina’s feet after years of wearing pointe shoes.
If you thought everything about a ballerina was beautiful and flawless, this picture might change your mind. Although they dance as if they feel no pain after several hours of rehearsals wearing pointe shoes, the truth is that these shoes are not the most comfortable footwear option…
“Retouching a portrait of Joan Crawford before Photoshop (1931).”
If you thought retouching pictures was a modern concept, you’ll be surprised to find out people have been fixing photographs for decades. Photographer George Hurrell, for example, would ask his subjects to arrive on set without makeup, then spend hours erasing every line and blemish on their skin. This is what Joan Crawford looked like before and after his pre-Photoshop retouches.
“My friend’s ID photos, taken exactly 4 years apart. He does not age, but appears to be ever so slightly happier now.”
Sometimes, before and after pictures are impressive not because of how much things have changed, but because of how little they changed. Not only does it look like these pictures were taken minutes apart since this guy hasn’t aged a day in these four years, but also the angle of the camera and his facial expression are identical in both pictures!
After some popular summer activities
As we all know, sunscreen is essential if we want to take care of our skin. This picture shows what would happen if we didn’t use sunscreen while performing some of the most popular outdoors activities in the summer such as waterskiing, mountain biking, scuba diving, and rollerblading.
“Cross-section of fit and obese bodies. My doctor showed me these after I lost weight to see how I’d changed.”
This is a pretty impactful picture. We don’t know about you, but we’d never seen a cross-section of any kind of body before, so we are very intrigued. It’s so interesting (but also slightly weird) to see how we all look inside, isn’t it?!
“Madrid before and after quarantine.”
This is a pretty interesting comparison. After a few weeks of less traffic, Madrid looks like a completely different city. Its sky has definitely cleared up and it looks a lot brighter. We wonder if this has had any long-term impacts on the air quality or if it was just temporary…
“Four months after my kidney transplant.”
This comparison is crazy, we can’t believe we are seeing the same man in both pictures. Here we can see this man right after receiving a kidney transplant and how much healthier he looks just four months after. If it weren’t for his cars we wouldn’t believe he was that sick just for a few months after the second picture was taken.
Before and after the war.
Pictured here is Soviet soldier Eugen Stepanovich Kobytev. The first photo was taken in 1941 before he left to go to war and the second was taken in 1945, after the end of the war, just four years later. The wrinkles and look on this man’s face show how much war changes a person.
Before undergoing the first-ever surgery to restore someone’s skull using a 3D printed titanium mesh.
Back in 2013, Hu accidentally plunged three stories and smashed his head on a pile of wood at a construction site, which caused part of his skull to cave in. To restore his skull, Hu has undergone the first-ever surgery in which that section of his skull was replaced with a 3D-printed titanium mesh molded to fit his head perfectly.
“Alpaca before and after shearing.”
When we think about alpacas, we picture fluffy, slightly chubby animals. It turns out that underneath all that fur alpacas are actually pretty skinny! Who would have imagined?! It doesn’t matter, though – we think they look adorable either way!
The difference hair color makes.
Kim Kardashian looks beautiful in any color, outfit, or hairstyle. After years of being a brunette, the socialite decided to bleach her strands in May 2022 for the Met Gala. Although these pictures were taken two months apart, it looks like they are two completely different people.
This is what a heart might look like after death.
It turns out not all hearts look the same. That is, throughout someone’s life, their heart might change a little depending on their lifestyle and their health. These pictures show what people’s hearts looked like after deaths caused by a gunshot wound, cancer, overdose, and fatty heart.
Chrissy Steltz’s eyes and nose were completely destroyed after she was accidentally shot in the face. Eleven years later, surgeons created a prosthetic face to cover her injuries.
Chrissy Steltz of Milwaukie was just 16 years old when a shot in the face destroyed her eyes and nose. However, years later a team of doctors in Oregon got together to create a prosthetic face that would cover her injuries. The making of the facial prosthesis took a total of four days.
“I had jaw surgery and it changed my life.”
This before and after photo shows the dramatic change of what surgery can do. In the first photo she’s swollen after day five, and after is four years later. It certainly isn’t easy going through something like this, but we’re glad to know her life changed for the better.
“Michigan lighthouse before and after a winter storm.”
These two pictures show just how powerful nature is. In the first photo, we can see this beautiful lighthouse located in St. Joseph, Michigan, and in the second one, the lighthouse is completely covered by an ice structure due to a winter storm. We wonder how long it takes for the ice to completely melt off when this happens…
“My wife made a cake exactly how her 6-year-old client imagined it.”
This little kid knew exactly what he wanted for his birthday – and he knew exactly who to hire to get it. We absolutely love how this baker turned this 2D drawing into a real-life version of a kid’s creation. We also love that she didn’t try to make it perfect, she made it look just like the drawing – which only makes it more special.
“I got bitten by a Brown Recluse Spider, this is what it looks like 3 days later.”
This person got bitten by a Brown Recluse Spider, this is what it looked like 3 days later. Apparently, they experienced more pain, itchiness, and swelling and they were taking a high dose of Minocycline as well as applying topical hydrocortisone valerate. Yikes.
Italian medical worker shares selfie after a 13-hour shift.
When we think about the day-to-day lives of medical workers, we usually just consider how hard it must be to work such long hours doing something so mentally and physically demanding. But not only are these people saving several lives every day, they are doing that while wearing protective equipment that sometimes even hurts their skin.
This woman went through an amazing transformation and this is what she looks like after her skin removal surgery.
This is just amazing! As a result of her hard work, this woman lost over 220 pounds. Once she reached her weight goal, she underwent skin removal surgery where more than 5 pounds of loose skin were removed by professional health physicians. What an impressive transformation, right?!
“9 days of nothing but untangling fiber.”
When this person first got to this box, they didn’t even know where to start. Apparently, all of the strands of fiber were coming from splitters of 32 strands – and there were 27 of them! But after nine whole days of untangling individual splitters, this person’s hard work definitely paid off. This looks so incredibly satisfying.
