The first and most important thing you will need is a backpack. Without the right backpack, you wouldn’t really be able to do anything. Now you may think that you can simply go with a suitcase but this is where you are wrong. Chances are you will be moving around from one location to the next and you really don’t need a bulky suitcase holding you back. Now the size of your backpack will largely depend on how long you plan on exploring. Next, you will need international adaptors. The last thing you want is to not be able to charge all your electronics once you arrive at your location.

To avoid this the best thing to do is do some research on the type of plugs used in the country and get adaptors before you head off. Speaking of electronics, you can never have enough batteries. Batteries are hard to come by especially when you are in a foreign country. This is why you should stock up while you are still at home. Now in case of any minor accidents, it will be best to have a first aid kit in your bag. Lastly and most importantly, you will need all forms of identification and just to be safe you should have a few copies.
