We have to consider what improvements have been made since its predecessor the PS4 pro. The PS5 has been marketed as the most powerful console that Sony has released; it has a better CPU, GPU, and an internal NVMe SSD. From the specs, we are able to tell that the PS5 has faster processing power and is overall a more capable console. There are also new features that are specific to the PS5 and it comes with Sony’s new DuelSense controller. The SP5 exclusive library is ever-expanding to include more games that many have found to be quite exciting. However, the PS4 is not outdated yet and comes at a lower price than the PS5.

PS5s are in limited supply and are in high demand so if you are planning on spending the money to get one you might have to endure an extended wait period. This was more prevalent in 2020 and 2021 with the pandemic being a contributing factor. While you might not be waiting as long to receive your PS5 you still have to pay a pretty penny to get your hands on one. You may be able to hold out till Black Friday sales roll around but sales on PS5s are not marked down by very much. The PS5 is also not the only gaming console on the market, so deepening on what you want you might find that the PS5 is the most worth it for you.
