And if it isn’t, here’s a quick rundown of the many beautiful experiences you could get on a trip to Spain. Spain has a thriving art scene. And it isn’t just the 49 Heritage world sites and the breathtaking architectural sights and cathedrals such as the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona. Spain is also considered the mecca of Gaudi modernism and has numerous contemporary museums. You can also enjoy all of these while taking part in the richness of the flamenco dance culture that is native to Spain.

How many Michelin star restaurants would you guess are in Spain? 224, that’s how much. And what is a real destination experience without fine dining? Getting to enjoy tapas in the country it originated from. Spain is also famed for its Mediterranean diet, a blend of flavorful yet healthy dishes that also manage to be endless. And you get to enjoy it with some of the best wine the world has to offer. This country has some of Europe’s best dramatic landscapes, as well as the finest cuisine.

Barcelona is a top tourist destination when visiting Northeastern Spain because it offers everything tourists look for in a European city from historic architecture to lively shopping and buzzing nightlife. Unique to Barcelona is Spain’s famous architect, Antoni Gaudi, Casa Batllo. Mallorca is a celebrated beach escape plan. One of Spain’s most popular Balearic Islands with quiet coves, limestone mountains, and sleepy stone villages overlooking the Mediterranean. It is possible to spend an entire month in Spain, just tasting wines in their purest, most wholly forms, and it still would be a life-changing experience.
